Contemplating Contemplating, which way should I flow? When hell breaks out just where will I go? The spirit is weary, the stakes are high The body awaits the mind’s reply The dealers and wheelers have camouflaged the games Zero degrees or 300 degrees, the lies are all the same Analyzing, which way should we flow When time stands still just where shall we go The body is tired, the stakes are sky high The mind awaits the spirit’s reply The educators and holy men have camouflaged the game And the undertakers and politicians are just two of the same Do we journey swiftly to higher ground? With a skewed understanding of what truly going down Hand clasp in prayers with urgent pleads To shadows of illusions and spiritual trickery Or do we pursue the treasures of mortal men Storing earthly possessions to gloss over what ails us within A never ending slew of optical mirages occupying our minds While precious moments of time continue to pass us by Visualizing, which way should we flow When evil digs in, just where shall we go?
