Contemplating todays Gospel Liturgical Day: Tuesday of Lent Gospel text ( Mt 6,7-15 ) : At that time Jesus said to his disciples: In praying , do not babble like pagans , for they think that by their many words they will be heard . Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him . You, therefore, pray : Our Father who art in heaven , hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven . Give us today our daily bread , and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors , and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For if you forgive men their trespasses, also forgive you your heavenly Father , but if you do not forgive men , neither will your Father forgive your trespasses . Word of the Lord . Glory to You , Lord Jesus. comment: When praying, do not babble ( ... ) for your Father knows what you need Today , Jesus is the Son of God taught me to behave like a child of God . A first aspect is the confidence when I talk to him But the Lord warns us , Do not babble ( Mt 6,7). And is that children , when they talk to their parents that do not do complicated reasoning , not saying many words, but simply ask for whatever they need. Whenever I have the confidence of being heard because God is Father loves me and listen to me . Indeed , prayer is not to inform God, but to ask what I need, because your Father knows what you need before you ask him (Matthew 6:8). I will not be a good Christian if I do prayer, as it can not be good son who does not usually talk to their parents. The Lords Prayer is the prayer that Jesus himself taught us, and is a summary of the Christian life . Every time we pray to our Father I let go of his hand and ask what they need each day to become a better child of God. Material need not only bread, but , above all, the Bread of Heaven . Let us pray that we never miss the Bread of the Eucharist. Also learn to forgive and be forgiven : In order to receive the forgiveness that God offers us , let us turn to the Father who loves us , say the Lords Prayer Introductory Mass formulas. Lord , I need to learn to pray and draw concrete consequences for my life. Above all, to live the virtue of charity, prayer gives me strength to live better every day. Therefore , I ask daily to help me to forgive both small inconvenience of others, how to forgive the offensive words and attitudes and , above all, not holding grudges , so I can honestly say that I forgive with all my heart to my debtors. What can I get help for me at all times the Mother of God.
