Contemporary Worship and Technology Arts Leader First Presbyterian Church of Trenton - Trenton, MI Apply from your tablet Part-time First Presbyterian Church of Trenton, Michigan First Presbyterian Church of Trenton Michigan, an Evangelical Presbyterian church in a downriver suburb of Detroit, is recruiting for full or part time position in Contemporary Worship Leadership and Technology Arts to lead an already established modern contemporary service. Although we are a 110 year old church body, we realize the importance of reaching the next generation and are starting to partner with organizations like Acts 29 and the Gospel Coalition. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate contemporary worship leader with a love for Jesus Christ that is visible, but sincere, and who has a desire to share the Gospel with others. Job aspects to include preparing for and leading worship at a Sunday morning contemporary service, recruiting, training and leading Worship Team members, as well as having a good knowledge base of the technical arts including sound, lighting and media. Specific Requirements to Include: Position requires 3 or more years of experience in leading worship, a college degree in music/worship leadership is preferred, and some theology background would be desirable Musical background including expertise in vocals and lead instrument(s) (guitar and/or keyboard) and ability to read/arrange music and develop chord sheets Recruiting, auditioning, training, and leading a primarily volunteer based group of talented Worship Team members from the church body.
