Contemporary philosophers must follow the objective laid down for philosophy by Scorate, Plato and Aristotle. To abandon the objective of philosophy is to serve the selfish interest of the individual which will lead to nothing but sophistry. The goal of philosophy is to know the ultimate reality, which make metaphysics the citadel of philosophy. Kant, Hegel and others, are great because they do not abandon the objective of philosophy, but rather shed more light into the fundamental problems of philosophy. Comtempoary philosopher must beware of modern sophist in the scientific school who want to make philosophy abandon is goal to serve the selfish interest of science, thereby bringing the collapse of philosophy speculation. Philosophy have is own questions to deal with and is own means of answering those questions. It maintain is own independent and freedom from the natural science.
