Continuing to feel extremely blessed! Met with my oncologist on Thursday before my treatment, and my chemo continues to do its job- praise God! I came home to a wonderful roast and vegetables made by my godmother and a beautiful scarf sent in the mail by a dear college friend. Friday, the students and staff at my incredible school wore pink, and I received a vase of beautiful flowers from a beautiful friend at school. Saturday, another dear college friend sent a celebration box filled with firecrackers, silly string, and a piñata for the boys and me to celebrate the success of my chemo and that theres only one left. Today during my parent conferences, many parents shared that I have been an inspiration to their children, been a witness for their children, and that their families pray for me daily. I cried and shared that their children give me the strength to only miss school on treatment days and love looking forward to seeing all of those precious faces in pink in all of my classes the day after my treatment. Also today, I received an email that our SBMS volleyball game is a pink out on Thursday and was asked to be their honored guest. Donations raised at the game will be donated to the Breast Cancer Awareness Fund in honor of me. As I share all of this with you and those of you that know me well wont be surprised, tears are flowing actually pouring down my face. I am so humbled and underserving of the outpouring of love and support that so many have shown since June 13th. I love all of you, and with your prayers I am and will continue to beat this cancer. #7 is in the books, only 1 more to go!!!!
