PROM NIGHT was an unabashed cash-in on the success of HALLOWEEN, but thats not the problem. What is the problem, is thats its so utterly lacking in suspense, style and wit. I know it does have its fans, but I can only guess this is more due to the prom setting rather than anything regarding the film itself...thankfully, in the UK we didnt (I would love to say dont but Im not 100% sure, what with the way the world has been going for the last couple of decades) have proms, so likely most of its fans reside Stateside. Personally, I found the film more torturous to watch than even FINAL EXAM.
