Continuing with Revelation 5:5-7 The posture of standing - TopicsExpress

Continuing with Revelation 5:5-7 The posture of standing represents work yet to do, with the posture of sitting representing work that is finished. The phrase, “as it had been slain” represents the crucifixion and resurrection. Note: Jesus being in the midst of the elders, portrays the church raptured and glorified. Isaiah 11:2, describes the attributes of the Holy spirit. READ V7- the Lamb takes the book. All of heaven stand in awe as the Lamb steps forward to take the book. He is the redeemer. (What a picture) Everything John saw from chapter 4 forward is future. Much of Revelation, is given in symbolism. John was to write of all things “that he saw”. Many of the things he saw, strange, were not symbolism, but obvious. For example, Jesus is not a lamb, he is referred to as one, for a purpose. We don’t know what John actually seen. Some speculate: He could well have seen Christ as Christ is to be seen, and then the Holy Spirit could have changed the form of Christ, as far as the vision was concerned, telling John to write what he had seen as it regards the symbolism. The picture is to portray the purpose of Christ the Lamb slain. Christ hands are worthy to break the seals. Our destiny and the destiny of all mankind and nations are in the nail pierced hands. AMEN Have a blessed Day, your destiny is in Christ hands..
