Continuing with my review of the Golden Decade of Music 1965-1974, where I am selecting the artists alphabetically and playing selections of their songs I liked or found influential from that Golden Decade. The next artist I am selecting to play one from is Crazy Elephant, a studio concoction, created by Jerry Kasenetz and Jeff Katz of Super K Productions. The band consisted of Robert Spencer, Kenny Cohen, Bob Avery, Larry Laufer, Hal King, and Ronnie Bretone. Bassist Gary Gaynor sat in for the recording of the song I am selecting, “Gimme Gimme Good Lovin”, a song written by Joey Levine and Ritchie Cordell. The song was a one-hit wonder, making #12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. https://youtube/watch?v=MPTX9enDQxk
