Contrary to emails Jim Howard and Rich Lorey sent out to their distribution lists, I attended the candidate forum this evening. It was actually Mr. Lorey who was not in attendance! The moderator was kind enough to read the following on my behalf: While Department of Defense (DoD) regulations preclude Jeff Bueche from participating in tonights forum, he wants the citizens to know that he is very interested in hearing their views on the issues facing our county. The DoD regulations only place restrictions on campaigning, but do not place restrictions on his ability to serve the community if elected. I will be providing my stand on questions asked tonight in a following post. How am I different than my opponents? As you read my posts here, the difference is that my answers and stance on issues does not change based on who I am talking to! (Unlike the other 2 candidates for James Monroe that attended tonight) I remain consistent which makes it so much easier than trying to remember what you said and to whom!
