Contrary to headline, General Bautista did not say it that way. General Bautista did NOT say WE WILL REACT MILITARILY... He said, We have to react militarily if force is applied. His phrasing could actually be that he is trying to send a message to Malacanang. So, is Malacanang listening???? Remember a month ago when our fishermen were water bombed or hosed or cannoned or whatever, General Bautista clearly said that the AFP would do its duty and provide protection to our fishermen but Aquino not only countermanded that ROE but also virtually defended the water hosing or cannoning of the fishermen by watering down the incident...
