Contrary to what the name may lead one to believe, fy_iceworld doesnt actually canonically contain any ice at all. When pressed for details, the developer stated that the map is actually set on a soundstage in the Republic of the Gambia and further added that the distinction between hastily painted plywood and actual ice easily becomes lost when represented with textures and models of a low enough resolution, but that anyone with half a brain knows that a bullet cant pass through ten meters of solid ice. Unconfirmed reports state that the snow on the ground is actually exceedingly crunchy cotton.
