Conversation with a past student of mine.......she asked me for advice on how to tell her mom she wasnt really in love with the young man she was courting (yet her parents felt he was the one)......honestly LOVE as simple as it TRULLY is gets convoluted by the opinions of others.....Ive seen couples get together because of outside pressures (many times JUST to end the chatter) I shared a couple stories with her and asked her a couple questions to think about as she took the next step......In my opinion its only she that knows who she is (start with that question who am I what do I desire) be true to YOU.......her fear of disappointing her parents has her crippled.....this young beautiful girl said to me ms lily I desire someone who reflects who I am, what I love ......personally as a mother to 7 gorgeous young women I pray & hope that my girls know their value, that they be true to their desires!!!
