Conversion - 1.12 There is need to emphasize again that at the point of a real encounter with Yahshua, Jesus, a definite translation involving change of nature and direction in life is supposed to occur. If an individual does not have that experiential encounter, he or she may have no definite testimony of Salvation! One of the greatest things all Pastors and Preachers need to do for those they lead is to ensure there are no assumptions about this but that they all have encountered Yahshua in a definite way and have received and walk in His saving grace! In doing this the prince of this world will find nothing to accuse the saint of. Otherwise, the devil will lie in wait for the inevitable to happen: an open door through which he will eat away the supposed strength of the “saint” until a crash occurs. This often happens when an individual has achieved success. There are some in ministry today who never were converted in the first place but who glibly laid hold on Romans 10:8-10 and make of none effect this foundational issue. The result is a lifetime of struggling with sin in spite of regrets and resolutions. tbc
