Cool Social Experiment: Teaching Complete Evolutionary Stories Increases Learning. Rather than teaching evolutionary theory as a single subject with relationships to sociology, biology, genetics, morphology,and ecology, researchers at UofM decided to work up a complete evolutionary profile, ranging from molecular and cellular changes to adaptations and their effect on ecosystems and social structures. The research shows that studies conducted on students before the experiment and after showed a remarkably finer understanding of the process of evolution and the concept in general. I think this is a very interesting model - and more suited to the oral history style of human social development.
