Three extraordinary artists, two days: Aaron Shneyer MUSIC Yusuf Misdaq SPOKEN WORD Jason Hamacher PHOTOGRAPHY First Session: Photography, Spoken Word & Music Wed, Jan 29 from 3-6pm Three internationally acclaimed artist-teachers guide students through three artistic mediums: music, photography, and spoken word-poetry-lyric to help students produce unique content for short films that address an important social issue and will broadcast on cable television. Second Session: Video Editing Tuesday, Feb 4 from 3-6pm Students learn professional video editing skills and turn artistic creations into commercials with a cause. This is a rare opportunity to perform community service through artistic mediums and learn the power of digital media for social justice.
