Coolbadah Commit – Chief Chief is a big 17hh Thoroughbred at only 9 years of age. OTT since he was 5 and was left in a paddock for a year with basic work and has now since competed in Dressage Days, Jump Club, ODE, Hunter Trials and Pony Club within the 2.5 years I have owned him. He excels mainly in Dressage! I haven’t jumped him in over a year due to my injuries, but he can jump over 1m with ease. Built like a warmblood, this gorgeous boy has looks to shine! He has established basic to intermediate level in Dressage and was scored 64% in his very first ODE. Chief is a one of kind horse. He has so much personality and loves his cuddles and anyone who is willing to give him a scratch! Always pulls a funny face! He is good with little kids, dogs and machinery. He can walk over tarps and wooden bridges. He listens to voice commands when on the lunge. He is awesome to shoe, float (self loads), worm, wash. He doesn’t need to be clipped as he doesn’t get a winter coat! He loves swimming and playing with the waves at the beach! He is in very good condition, fat for a thoroughbred but also has good muscle tone and a built up top line. He is a good doer food wise. Very quiet and can be a lazy boy at times, although he needs an experienced rider to get the best out of him and he can get excited when taken places, but the more he is taken out, the better he is. Chief is up for sale due to absolutely no fault of his own! Very regretful sale! Must go to a good, loving home! He is located in Mooloolah Valley, Sunshine Coast. No payment plans. More than welcome to come ride more than once as I want you to be sure! Just no time wasters! Gear included (bridle, rugs {cotton, fleece and a winter} lunging system and halter) $5500, price is negotiable home is not!
