Cooper County Overnight Hours Route 5 at Interstate 70 – Roadway maintenance will take place Sunday, October 19 through Friday, October 24. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. Daylight/Overnight Hours Route 41 over the Lamine River, north of Moehle Mill Road – Bridge replacement is complete. The Bridge was opened to traffic on October 12. Daylight Hours Route H between Route O and Route AA - Chip sealing roadway surface to extend pavement life. The operation will take place the week of October 20. Motorists should expect to encounter loose gravel on the road surface for several days after the seal coat is complete. At that time, crews will sweep the roadway. Drivers should lower their speeds through the area. Motorists should expect delays. One lane will be open, and a pilot car will lead traffic through the work area. Route V between Route 179 and the end of state maintenance - Chip sealing roadway surface to extend pavement life. The operation will take place on Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31. Motorists should expect to encounter loose gravel on the road surface for several days after the seal coat is complete. At that time, crews will sweep the roadway. Drivers should lower their speeds through the area. Motorists should expect delays. One lane will be open, and a pilot car will lead traffic through the work area.
