Cooperation, Compassion and Existentialism We’re all up against the same crisis in life. Kierkegaard’s next door neighbor, the anxiety and fear we need - to confront knowing we exist and will one day cease to exist. Cooperation is a match on the safety mat of compassion for each other, knowing the strategies we’ve been forced to create to cope with this knowledge are responsible for the degree of ease with which we cooperate. We have been compelled to create strategies to cope with the knowledge of our fragility. In other words... There are no others. Recognize your own anxieties and fear and have compassion for yourself.
