Copied from another friend of mine: Help me understand it......Raising the minimum wage would indeed help millions of people take home more money. I understand that and I get that. But what about the businesses that employ these people...they will raise their prices and therefore affecting EVERYONE, including those that received the raise. So the domino effect will happen. Prices go up, shipping charges go up, heck...fuel may even go up. I am just looking at the possibilities that it will affect everyone and those it was intended to help may not really be better off - other than maybe paying more taxes on the income. Just curious.
