Coping. I looked up the word cope this morning, It means to deal - TopicsExpress

Coping. I looked up the word cope this morning, It means to deal with difficulties. I looked up the word difficult; hard to do, understand, or deal with. That puts me in a dilemma; the choice between equally undesirable difficulties. There we have it then, and no much wonder Im having a difficult week while attempting to cope with out of my control things. Like-- my cell phone bill has a strange/unknown number on it and so far, three hours of physical waiting traveling and calling time to the various Verizon stores or connections leaves this mystery unsolved. I dont have any more time available to give to it, however, because theres a wedding in our barn tomorrow and the rehearsal dinner is tonight. And the big fella we always called the baby is soon a husband. They plan for a new baby very soon and then theres that. A great-grandmother. Whew!! What happened? Didnt I just last month adjust to him getting a drivers license? well...no. that was six years ago. I know that my dear daughter is very busy right now. come to think of it, she is likely shedding a few tears of her own. I need to put my arms around her, and give good words of wisdom and encouragement and celebration, but instead, I have a great desire to just get into her lap myself. Coping. Not one of my favorite words. Praying---an earnest request; the addressing of a divinity. Once again Lord Jesus, here I am. And there You are. Amen
