Cord leaders, MPs and senators to discuss ICC deferral quest ******************************************** The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) has summoned a special joint Parliamentary Group meeting of its members to discuss what the party leadership has termed as matters of national importance. The meeting scheduled for Tuesday October 29 will bring together Cord leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula, senators and Members of Parliament from the coalition affiliate parties. Among things to be discussed is the need for a common stand by the coalition in the on-going attempts to have both Cord and Jubilee legislators work on a bi-partisan plan to support Kenyas bid to have International Criminal Court ( ICC) cases against Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto suspended. The meeting to be held at Orange House in Nairobi will also seek to have the coalition form a common approach to the oncoming by-elections in Bomachoge Borabu, Nyaribari Chache and Lungalunga Constituencies as well as Lamu County gubernatorial and Bungoma senate by-elections.
