Corey Alexander took his third straight victory of 2014 this - TopicsExpress

Corey Alexander took his third straight victory of 2014 this afternoon at Road America, on his #5 Celtic/Hudson Valley Motorcycles Suzuki GSX-R 600 in AMA Pro SuperSport. Alexander started from pole after impressive performances in practice and qualifying where he dominated the 40+ rider field. It is important to note that Alexander is competing just two short weeks after surgery to plate a broken collarbone! Alexander showed his mastery of race tactics, and after turn five on the first lap, was never challenged for the lead, and was able to maintain a solid gap to the pack. Wyatt Farris worked hard in practice and qualifying to improve his starting position to fourth on the grid Saturday morning ahead of the first AMA Pro SuperSport race. Farris battled with the lead pack on his #19 Celtic/HVMC Suzuki GSX-R 600 and traded spots before finishing a strong 4th at the checkered, with his lap times improving steadily. Farris is showing similar speed and determination to his double second places finishes at Daytona, and everyone is encouraged by his hard work. Race two is at 1pm central time, 2pm eastern - please navigate to fanschoice.tv for live streaming coverage.
