Coroner: Man’s train death appears to be suicide DANVILLE (AP) - A coroner in central Pennsylvania says the death of a man run over by a train near a festival to celebrate the regions role in early development of the rail system appears to be suicide. The Press Enterprise said the 21-year-old man died Saturday morning in Danville, a block away from the towns Iron Heritage Festival. The paper says bystanders and riders on a train headed to Bloomsburg called 911 to say someone had thrown himself under a train. Coroner Scott Lynn tells the paper officials are still investigating but it appears to be a case of suicide. The victims name hasnt been released. Festival organizers said train rides connected to the event were likely going to be re-routed.
