Corporate hacks taking charge of the schedule for Christmas and the days after Christmas is a recipe for disaster. Two cooks: One guy living his American nightmare as hes cursing up a storm and the other guy who works on two speed, slow and slower but somehow his transmission has been stuck on slower for years and omelets coming out medium rare; a feat that shocked a chef friend of mine. No dishware, toast being served in salad bowls, plates coming out with infamous stamp of approval; a raspberry finger print from the kitchen, no extra servers to break the servers from the morning and the people keep coming like the zombies in the Walking Dead trying to get into a house of refuge. And this was only Christmas Day. The next day was worse to the point where the manager looks at me with a look of dread as she said,We only have four servers tonight. Through all this, I always thought of the Benny Hill Theme song. Benny Hills expression is mine when I think that the days could not get worse.
