Corruption, embezzlement, fraud, these are all characteristics which exist everywhere. It is regrettably the way human nature functions, whether we like it or not. What successful economies do is keep it to a minimum. No one has ever eliminated any of that stuff ~ Alan Greenspan HOWEVER.........THERE ARE SOME GOOD PEOPLE LEFT......Im contented that my mission and attempt to weed out one....just one.... illegal operation was met with fabulous support from the government departments here. And I am truly surprised by these departments effort to AT LEAST hear me out, take down notes and provide me with their latest updates on what had seemingly been already recorded and noted by them for some time. Even if these departments are hampered from carrying out their duties for whatever reason, the officials had noted the complaint and had discussed (yes, discussed!!) with me on the appropriate follow up actions which they can or cannot take....! - GREAT JOB..... Pejabat Daerah Langkawi ( PDL ), Majlis Perbandaran Langkawi, Langkawi IPD & Pejabat Tanah Langkawi. Special appreciation to the police at Balai Kuala Teriang for hauling MK to the station for a face-to-face confrontation with us, followed by a warning as well - fabulous job Cikgu Tuan Kamal !! And it works....there is no sound coming from opposite for now.
