Corsica, wonderful place, great tarmac rally. Very happy they can recover this year the fabulous downhill towards Pont de Arcovaro. I wish that in the future they may schedule also the incredible downhill of Col de la Vaccia, belonging to the Aullene-Zicavo legendary stage (it is the same D69 road that goes down to Arcovaro, but further up to the north). Here below and thanks to Google Earth, you have two pictures of the same place. One taken with the old road (Dec 2008) and the other after some road works and a new layer of tarmac (May 2011); thankfully, it keeps all the corners, and almost the same width. Great Corsica!
