Could Scotland leaving the union be avoided if Westminster just admits that its done a really shit job the past 100 years and give Holyrood the reigns of the union for the next 100?? We could put trident on the English coast,we could give them some devolved powers,we could let them use OUR currency but let them print notes that cant be used anywhere else in the union We could force policies on them designed for Scotland that would not work on their differing socio-economic situation, we could get involved in wars they dont want to be part of and send their troops off to fight, Surely this would be a very attractive offer to them as we would be better together in an unfair union, dont you think? Surely out there there must be some folk daft enough to think this is a reasonable idea...what about the no voters do you think it sounds like a good idea???
