Yesterday I was the first one at the well when I left some other drivers came in saying highway patrol had set up a mobile scale going in to Oklahoma by Sweetwater, OK. I told the other drivers that I would call them on the radio and let them now if the scales were still up. They said they wouldnt be able to hear me. I called them let them know the scales were gone. Later that night when I saw one of the drivers he said I sounded like I was only a couple miles away. I was 15 miles away when I called them. Thanks again!! A couple radio shops worked on it but didn’t help, got worse and still cost me $. Two drivers with awesome sounding radios in Ontario Ca told me about Hardrive in Amarillo Tx. Hardrive agreed to bench test it for free, cut out the mess and toys someone else did and fixed it right. It does not sequel or get smoking hot anymore. Between Ontario Ca to N. Norfolk Va, six or seven people ask me what kind of ham rig I had. It was clear and loud and I could hear and talk fifteen plus miles without all that noise. I finally talk on skip now after 22 years. Cleanest, most organized shop I have ever seen. His fundamental frequency mumbo jumbo stuff really works! I recently bought a cobra 29 ltd chrome from a driver and nobody here can seem to figure it out and have been told that its gonna be cheaper just to buy a new 1. i would like to send it to you and see if you can figure out what is wrong with it i only have 25.00 bucks in radio andwould like to get it going. This radio has been NOISY as crap from day one. The signal to noise ratio was horrible and I couldnt pick out weak signals from the static. NO MORE! Now I have total control with the RF Gain and I dont even need a squelch control. After the FINE TUNE I have a radio that is perfect and I can use it keeping my eyes on the road driving, instead of tinkering with the knobs trying to filter out the hash on my radio. What HARDRIVE does , is convert your radio into a much more user friendly radio. IT JUST PLAIN WORKS! My buddies say that my signal has NEVER been clearer or stronger and this radio is JUST plain FUN to operate . My drive has become less stressful and less distracting. Mr Rocky @ 11 years old did not make the trip to Milan Nm. He pass on in our bed. I miss my best buddy more than I can ever explain. He is put to rest in a beautiful place close to a lake because he loved to swim. Rocky had a lot of friends and there will be a place on this site just for him.
