Could death be a bridge for the generation gap? At our Death - TopicsExpress

Could death be a bridge for the generation gap? At our Death Cafe last week in Maple Ridge we had a great mix of ages from 16 to 86 and everything in between. Our 86 year old was amazing, loving, lots of life experience and an endearing way of speaking. I noticed the young people were spell-bound by what she had to sway and the life wisdom she was so generously sharing. I also noticed how much more energized our octogenarian was after having spoken to these young people. Seems wisdom and youthful energy was joyfully shared. Her view on death and dying was truly inspiring for the young folks and really made an impression on them. There seemed like no gap at all and the topic in common was death. Hmmm, perhaps I am on to something here. Much Love Stephen
