Could this be the best unrestored Range Rover left? This rare early Suffix D Range Rover has survived the test of time incredibly well, thanks to the meticulous care of the father and son who owned the car from new until 2014. With just 67k miles on the clock, HTK 490P is presented in virtually original condition and has no corrosion as one of the first jobs the original owner undertook on his new car was a serious bout of rustproofing. Every exposed surface underneath the car, the engine bay panels and bulkhead, and even the recesses behind the front lights, were treated to a thick layer of underseal. The Tuscan Blue paint is nicely aged and suitably weathered and the interior of the car is in lovely order throughout. Of course it could benefit from a fresh coat of paint if one wanted to show the car, but we think HTK 490P looks just fine as it is. lro/detail/cars/4x4s/land-rover/range-rover/73345
