Could you post please? Please help your local childrens centres. The council have proposed to shut down most of the childrens centres within the borough. They are planning on using the buildings to run nurseries for the 2 year old funded places. If you could attend the next local township meeting to voice your objections that would help, as last week it was all about the bloody bins, when they were supposed to be talking about the childrens centres theyre closing down. So instead of sitting on Facebook moaning about bins, do your future generations a favour and go sign the petition and fill out the online consultation form. If you have under 5s take them to the sessions at the childrens centre, the reason they want to close them is because they arent being used. Search for Save Burys Childrens Centres to see what were doing to counteract this and if theres anything you could do to help. Thank you
