Couldnt be more annoyed about the new nanny-state requirement in CA that forces parents to get a signed document from a doctor if they choose not to vaccinate their children on the states timetable. Our family doesnt have to deal with it yet (we have a pre-existing exemption on file) but itll hit us next year, since the new form is required when a student enters the 7th grade. Thrilled to know I will have to find a doctor - who will no doubt know less about vaccines than I do - to give me a boogeyman lecture before doing me the favor of signing the form to prove I have been sufficiently educated on the topic.
