Councillor David Flood - Matachewan First Nation January 14 at 3:26pm · MFNs current consultation process has built in provisions for proponents/industry/companies to consult and enter formal agreements with MFN Trappers. A number of our trappers have these agreements and receive various forms of accommodation and monetary payment for loss of use and impacts. The dialogue is between the Land User and the business/company. MFN/Wabun provides technical support as requested. All agreements have issue resolution processes. Notices have gone out - MFN is actively reviewing and enhancing our current framework. Please come and engage in the conversation. dlf
