Councilmembers participated in the 2015 Havasu Leadership Development Mock City Council meeting on December 18. One of the Agenda items included a proposal to close McCulloch from Smoketree to Acoma, to make it foot traffic only. In addition, Mayor Mark Nexsen spoke to the class prior to the meeting on Local Government Operations, Parliamentary Procedures, and Council Meeting Protocol. Havasu Leadership Development, through the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce, is a comprehensive leadership development program designed to identify resources and educate individuals to assume leadership roles within our community.
