Here is a list of the £3 a pint beers and ciders available at The Prince of Waterloo beer festival this weekend. A few brand spanking new beers and some old favourites. On bus route 121 for only £4 day rider. BOX STEAM BREWERY PISTON BROKE – abv 4.5% A subtle single hopped golden beer with a hoppy aroma and a dry finish BUTCOMBE BREWERY YETI – abv 4% A ‘Glacier Cool’ Blond beer made with a beautiful balance of rugged North American hops, predominantly the crisp and gently fruity Glacier hop. DAWKINS ALES ELDERFLOWER PALE – abv 4% Bramling cross single hopped English session ale with hand picked Elderflowers POLKA – abv 4.5% Authentically brewed newly created cask lager, moreish light malt flavour with clean, dry hop finish MILK STREET BREWERY THE USUAL – abv 4.4% A citrusy hoppy best bitter with a particularly orangey nose. Caramel and light citrus notes. Fresh and clean with quite a bitter-sweet feel to it. ZIGZAG – 4.5% This vegan award winning stout has a hoppy and slightly spiced aroma. Dark coloured and rich on the palate, spicy with a dry peppery and bitter chocolate roast finish. BEER – abv 5% A golden ale with a bittersweet nose with tea flavours and sweet malts. Hedgerow hops and sweetness also coming through. This Beer is a complex one with suggestions of banana jam spread on crisp toast and even the faintest hint of Pina Colada. NEW BRISTOL BREWERY MINI – abv 2.5% A brand new low abv extra pale lager drinker converter, dry hopped with Summit hops. AYAYAY – abv 4.9% Another new ale from the New Bristol boys, this one is an American Amber ale with Nugget, Citra & Cinnock hops. INDIA – abv 6.5% A Speciality pale ale. A malt bill of Maris Otter low colour, Munich & Caramalt gives this beer the malty backbone it requires to play off the crisp lemony notes from the Cardomon & Coriander. This beer also has generous quantities of Indian Jaggery sugar, which is made from the flowers of the palm. TOWLES FINE ALES COPPER LEAF – abv 4.1% Copper coloured ale using 4 malts and 4 hops giving a complex, but light, bitterness and floral finish. OLD SMILER – abv 4.2% A dark amber ale traditionally brewed with Maris Otter malt & Fuggles hops, with malty undertones & a refreshingly bitter finish. INDEPENDENTS APA – abv 5% Launching this weekend a light American pale ale nice and hoppy but not too bitter. Made using American Cascade & Willamette hops TWISTED OAK BREWERY FALLEN TREE – abv 3.8% A modern style amber session ale. Brewed with Maris Otter & continental hops. Smooth tasting with toffee notes & citrus on the nose. SLIPPERY SLOPE – abv 5.3% This is a classic rich porter crafted with six different malts & generously hopped with English Fuggles. An outstanding example of an English Porter. Beautiful! SPUN GOLD – abv 4.5% A beautiful golden ale brewed with just one single malt (Maris Otter) & late hopped with American Willamette. ULTRA – abv 5% Pale Ale heavily hopped with Simcoe and Amarillo hops As well these our regular beers, Bass, Butcombe Bitter, Courage Best and St Austell’s Tribute will make an appearance
