Great tunes like “Love in a Vacuum”, “Coming Up Close” and “(Believed You Were) Lucky” only received acclaim on MTV, not at the cash register. The bands second and final Top 40 would be the atmospheric “What About Love” which peaked at #26 in the winter of 1986. Aimee Mann has never stopped working doing voice-over work as well as earning Grammy and Academy Award nominations for her music talents.
