Countdown to July 9th!!! Frankly, I have never been this excited about presidential election. I guess, because this time, the candidates are both high potential leader, coming up with their strengths and weaknesses, trying to serve the nation at their best. Therefore, deciding which one of them is well worth my vote was once pretty much confusing. Moreover, when it comes to the problem of what sort of president that best fits Indonesias current condition. But, then I use this simple logic of choosing the best among the worst. From the information and knowledge I have acquired, I finally believe that choosing Jokowi over Prabowo is the best decision a voter will ever make. Why? Because all the good things that make a candidate becomes the best choice among the worst apparently coexist with Jokowi. 1. Jokowi is just good and competent person; he has been serving his people with all his heart, he is a down-to-earth leader, he is reliable, he has numerous achievements, he is a catalyst for change, and blah blah blah. (I believe there are thousands of articles out there clearly explaining and testifying this). 2. Jokowi is supported at least by better and more competent persons than whom Prabowo has. This is a very important point. I believe, this country will not be single-handedly be run just by the president elect but also by the people behind him. Take a look at the people surrounding Prabowo. A person like Fadli Zon and the coalitions he has formed, PAN, PKS, PPP, Golkar, parties that recently have been riddled with problems. Who are you to stand up for them?? Like seriously!
