Heflin is the only candidate opposing 3-term incumbent GOP Senator L. Scott Frantz in the district (Greenwich, New Canaan, and Stamford) as the Democrats declined to nominate an opponent. Ed Heflin is a Wall Street Consultant and co-coordinator of the CT chapter of the Public Banking Institute.
