Countless atrocities/genocides have taken place throughout the history of humankind. I dont think, however, that we were intended to know about all of them (or at least many of them) all the time. The extensive coverage and proliferation of social media is really testing the limits of our emotional capacity. The only upside of knowing is perhaps the fact that each and every one of us can play a part, no matter how small, to help: pray, donate, educate, adopt, advocate etc. A wise person once said Ignorance is bliss. Unfortunately, we are no longer afforded this luxury. Please dont turn a blind eye. Please dont be a passive bystander. Play your part. ACT NOW!
