Fox, Robert Downey Jr., Brian Dennehy, Kevin and Matt Dillon, Mark Harmon, Harvey Keitel, Sean Penn, Robin Williams, Judd Nelson, Randy Quaid, Martin Sheen, and Kathleen Turner. Looking at pictures of these 20 year olds running a whole airport in Vietnam is surreal. This dude was so hardcore, he used to fly gunner missions on his days off. On my days off, I flew over 1000 hours of combat time as a helicopter door gunner... on UH-1D Slicsk, UH-1C Gunships, AH-1G Cobra, and CH-47 Chinooks. There were also three missions on the Air Force AC-47 Gunship-Spooky and a few missions on Navy PBRs. I have flown around the southern tip of Vietnam and all the way up to Dong Ha and the Quang Tri. I have worked in all four military Corps.
