Courage often times is super quiet. Our courageous moments go unnoticed by the rest of the world. The things that produce fear in us, are not the same things that produce fear in someone else. Therefore our triumphs are personal/intimate...and usually dont involve saving someone from a fire. They are the small meaningful, scary fires we choose to put out even though we are sweating it big time. Most often times our courageous battles arent won with a big trophy at the end. They are simply won. WE have to celebrate those triumphs, because theyre personal. Because courage is a choice. Because the voice in our head is a choice. Because we are stronger than we think and more courageous than we know. And we are certainly more courageous than anyone else knows. Thats the coolest part.
