Formula 1 Team Caterham Has Equipment Seized by Bailiffs. Court bailiffs in the U.K. said they seized equipment from Formula One team Caterham’s factory before this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix. The Sheriffs Office, a court enforcement agency based in Croydon, England, said in a statement on its website they will auction items including racing car parts that were scheduled to be used at the Oct. 5 race in Suzuka. Caterham said in a statement the case involves a supplier and won’t affect its involvement in Formula One. The Leafield, England-based team hasn’t scored a point after 14 of 19 races this season. AirAsia Bhd. Chief Executive Officer Tony Fernandes sold the team to a group of investors from Switzerland and the Middle East in July, the British Broadcasting Corp. reported. In a July 29 statement, the new owners said they were seeking damages after people employed by a supplier claimed unfair dismissal from the team. Source: bloomberg
