Court in Iganga has sentenced a 27 year old man to ten years imprisonment for attempted murder of his girl friend. Prosecution led by Josephine Aryong said the accused Muzeifa Ngobi on 11 April 2014 behind shell petrol station in Iganga municipality stabbed a branch manager of MTN telephone company in Iganga,Betty Namulondo after developing a misunderstanding in their love affair. Prosecution further said the accused who was also a manager of main street bar and lodge located in Iganga municipality had earlier accused Namulondo of having a love affair with another man.
