***Courtesy Post*** The beautiful, young Iglu is looking for a home! She is about 17 months, spayed, vaccinations up to date. Iglu is crate trained (wire crate, she does not do well in plastic crates...not enough air flow). Iglu has all the typical husky traits, so a home with breed knowledge is crucial. She has energy to burn, but when that need is met, she settles down in her crate and relaxes. Iglu is a great running partner, loves off leash parks and gets along well with other dogs. She has had very little exposure to cats, so will need work in that area. Iglu knows the commands “sit”, “down” , “leave it”. She is still working on “stay”. Iglu has been trained to wait for various amounts of time before she gets her food bowl given to her. Iglu’s recall needs work, as if she is distracted, she takes her time coming to you. I have had best success with just squatting down and using a hand signal (and patience) to bring her in to me. Longest time was 5 minutes.
