Courteville Business Solutions has been invited as a Special Guest by the Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA) to its 5th Management Consulting Business Symposium in Trinidad &Tobago. Courteville would be representing the country as the only Nigerian company and one of only two companies invited from Africa to the symposium, the second company being ABN, South Africa. This invitation is an offshoot of the cordial relation developed between Courteville and CEDA and a follow up to the diverse discussion that took place between the two organisations, especially on the need for the development of closer trade links between the Caribbean and Nigeria as well as Africa as a whole. This relationship was initiated at the African and Caribbean Business Expo (AACBE) event in London 2012, during the Olympics, which Courteville Business Solutions participated as the Platinum Sponsor along with CEDA. CEDA is the only regional trade and investment promotion agency in the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group. It serves the 15 countries of the Caribbean (CariForum) by promoting trade, export development and investment within the region on one hand, with the rest of the world on the other. This would be the second time Courteville Business Solutions Plc would be taking a business delegation to the Caribbean after the initial visit in January 2013, which was initiated by First Priority Group UK & Jamaica Promotion Corporation (JAMPRO), also fallout of Courteville’s sponsorship of the AACBE event at the London Olympics. Speaking on how the programme would add more values to the company, the Group MD/CEO of Courteville, Mr. Bola Akindele said, "It would further ground Courteville in the international market and a way to deepen our relationship with Trinidad & Tobago. It would also be an avenue for us to showcase our home built invention using local material and young developers to the world. To show the world what we Nigerians came up with in the mist of our environmental challenges with the sole aim of boosting the Nigerian economy.” Courteville, he added, is well known in Nigeria and indeed West Africa, as a trusted company with a reputation for adopting fresh thinking in providing and delivering definitive and innovative e-business solutions in their unmatched areas of expertise, ranging from the design and development of customised software and mobile applications, through data capture services, retail business channel delivery services, and dedicated & cloud hosting services as well as tax administration consultancy services. "The company is the patent owner of the AutoRegTM Business Solution Platform, which has been developed into a franchise that include: AutoRegTM MVAD (flagship and highly successful service); AutoInsure (3rd Party motor insurance retail platform); AutoRegInspectorTM (mobile phone based remote verification application); AutoRegTM Enumerator (mobile phone based remote data capture application)and other customised solutions such as the: Parent to School Education Administration & Monitoring System (P-SEAMS); (e-commerce shopping mall); Regulated Product Administration & Monitoring Solution for NAFDAC and Insurance Policies Database Solution for NIA,” he said. He added: “Through the above services which are delivered via the company’s time tested fixed, web-based and mobile data capture platforms, Courteville has singlehandedly created the largest data capture and process platform in sub-Sahara Africa, comprising over 10,000 operators in about 5,000 outlets in Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Over the years, we have successfully captured data and created the most authentic database of motor vehicles and motor vehicles owners in Nigeria and Sierra Leone.” Thisday, 16 September 2013
