Cousin John Mahler, Silver Spring, MD, died early this morning of a sudden heart attack. He taught 1st grade at a dual language Montgomery County Public School. His sister, Anne (CA), wrote this: His wife, Elizabeth Campbell, died on June 22 of this same year. He leaves behind him his parents, both with varying stages of dementia, his in-laws, Chess and Gary Campbell, and his two sons, David 18 and mentally disabled, and Daniel, 13, a bright, sensitive boy. He has two children from an earlier marriage to Sonja Jean Edwards Mahler: Lyz Elizabeth Rovira and her husband Luis Rovira, and his two grandchildren Luisito, 3, and Conner, in his first year; and, a son Jonathan Adam Mahler of the United States Marine Corps.
