Coyotes in Greenwood, IN - If you look at the map and consider some characteristics of Coyotes its not a surprise. Coyotes need Water, Shelter, and Food. For those of us that hunt look at the areas and think, Rabbits/Rodents, ponds, woods. Why dont people see them on a Golf Course? Shelter, Food, Water (thats not chemically treated). I grew up on East Broadway in a house that bordered on Linseys Fields and we saw them quite often in the Fall and Winter. Furthermore, if you see ares without sightings and think, hmm, why arent there sightings in this are? Two things are needed for sightings 1) Coyotes and 2) People actively looking for Coyotes.
