Coz Sowmya Ravi asked me, and who can say no? And thankfully, you dint think Id suggest textbooks too :P In no particular order :P 1. Guns of Navarone - Alistair MacLean (Best thriller Ive read) 2. The Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown (Coz it turned eyebrows globally) 3. Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night-time - Mark Haddon (stunned me how anybody could even dream of writing from the viewpoint of an autistic child, and doing justice!) 4. My Own Country - Abraham Varghese (A Doctors resourceful insight into into AIDS and life in the United States) 5. Coma - Robin Cook (Brought chilling visuals of the hanging bodies in the freezer to life! Had a few nightmares after this) 6. Timeline - Michael Crichton (Changed my idea of space and time forever!) 7. As the Crow Flies - Jeffrey Archer (An entire lifetime covered with an ease and grip that only he can muster) 8. Jurassic Park - Crichton again (No comments! Can still read it again! Can still watch it again!) 9. Hound of the Baskervilles - Arthur Conan Doyle (Blend of mystery and fear that gripped me, Ive never looked at dogs in the dark straight in the eye again :P) 10. Three Men in a Boat(to say nothing of the Dog) - Jerome K Jerome (because I love lame, dry humor, and this guy kills it!) Nuff ranting - Karthik Shyam I nominate thee, cause I hope to read your work someday and add it to this list! :D
