Cpl. Donovan E. Clancy, 26, of the Marine Wing Communication Squadron 18, has been identified as the service member missing in the waters off of Tinian since last Friday. The III Marine Expeditionary Force public affairs office released his name this morning. The ongoing search for Clancy is being coordinated by U.S. Coast Guard sector Guam, according to a press release. Participating units include Marine Air Group 12 Marines; the Saipan Department of Public Safety; the Tinian DPS; Patrol Squadron 5; Commander, Task Force 72 and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 search and rescue teams, the release states.
