Crazy, but true science # 2: DNA - The Program Code of Life Think life itself is boring? That life is made up of nothing but boring flesh and a boring heart that beats all day? Think again. 0010010010111100001010010100110110000101010101110101010101010101100..... 1001010001010010100101010100101010010101010010101100101010100..... What did you see? Maybe a bunch of gibberish numbers, but what you really saw were binary numbers. These binary numbers are like instructions for a computer, it tells the computer what to do. We all know for a fact that computer softwares dont run on their own. We know that they function by a series of weird numerical/alphabetical codes. These codes give instructions on what to do. Believe it or not, this is exactly how DNA works. The DNA that is stored in every living creature is actually a very complex computer-like program machine. A machine that is written with millions of millions genetic codes. Just like 0s and 1s written for computer programming, the DNA is written by 4 chemical genetic agents, T, C, A, & G. These 4 codes are mysteriously written in a precise and exact order just like a computer language. If you tweaked any of those codes, you would either be horribly mutated or non-existent. All of these codes need to be just right for life to exist properly. And were talking about millions but millions of genetic coding. Mess one up and you might mutate or ruin everything. TCA-GAT = color of eye/hair type CAT-ATT = height/color of skin One of the extraordinary things about the DNA is how it capable of creating and expressing genetic traits for every living being although nobody really knows how the first genes got here in the first place. Whats also extraordinary is how this DNA is capable of transferring its genetic information (i.e. TCAACTGATC) to its offspring along with the mixture of someone elses DNA. That is why when you have sons and daughters they appear similar (not exact, because no DNA is ever exact) to either their father or mother. Its like a computer programmer copying the data to a USB and fusing all that data with another data. No matter how boring you may be, just know for the fact that you are nothing but a living biological computer-like software. Because life, as science has showed us, is mysteriously programmed. But where did this program come from exactly? That is one of lifes greatest mysteries. Some believe god was the programmer of life, others believe different.
